The 1933 Regular Season is complete! The playoff teams are set, with the UA SemiFinal Series to begin on Monday, September 25, 1933.
Reigning 2-time MVP Mario Olivo of the Delle Stars had a shot at a batting Triple Crown, but came up just short, .015 behind Gary Holland (Railey Rivals), who won the batting title, and 1 HR behind Stars teammate Antonio Teakowa. Still, another stellar season could very well earn Olivo his third straight MVP award.
Here’s a reminder of the UA playoff format:

Only one team, the 1930 Platte Bears, has won both the Mark Davis Trophy and the Windsor Cup in the same season. Is the time off between the Regular Season and the Windsor Cup Finals a detriment to the team who earns a bye? This will be the final season under the current UA Playoffs format.
