The Riverside Ramblers held the league’s top record at 22-8 coming into this week. They led the Western Division by 4 games over the Gandolire jewels.

Coming into this week, the Prissley Riverwolves had won 2 straight games since losing 5 out of 6 in their worst stretch of the year. At 21-9, they led the Eastern Division by 4 games over the Roland Aces and Thundaru Lightning.

  • The league’s hottest team, the Salvation Brothers, pulled off a huge 51-49 win on the road against the mighty Riverside Ramblers to push their win streak to 7 games. The win puts the Brothers in a tie with the Scouts for the West’s last playoff spot. Star Brothers GF Isaac Hart was electric, scoring a career-high 29 points on a career-high 7 threes, along with 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and a blocked shot.
  • Carver PF Leonard Morgan scored a career-high 22 points with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and a block as the Bannarets beat the Aces in Roland, 70-59. The loss drops Roland to third in the East, 2 games ahead of Wight for the final playoff spot.
  • The Thundaru Lightning stayed hot with a big win over the Wight Spirits, 60-55. Spirits PG Arnold Hall had 16 points and 7 assists in the loss, while Lightning F Timoteo Gilbuena scored 17 points with 3 rebounds and an assist in the win. Thundaru has won 8 of their last 10 games. They trail the Riverwolves by 4 games in the East.
  • The Gandolire Jewels 5-game win streak came to an end with 52-49 loss at home to the Deerborn Giants. SG Allen Hodge had a career night with 18 points, a rebound, a steal, and an assist in the win. Gandolire remains 4 games behind the Ramblers in the West.
  • The Colts embarassed the first-place Prissley Riverwolves with a 52-33 beatdown in Cherricaw. Carlos Agurlar had a career-high 8 rebounds, with 5 points, and 2 assists in the win.
  • The Wight Spirits bounced back from their home loss against Thundaru and beat the same Lightning team on the road, 48-46. Wight FC Stuart Parker tied the league record with 4 blocked shots, scored 10, had 2 rebounds, and an assist in the win. The Spirits are 2 games behind Roland and Thundaru for the last playoff spot in the East.
  • The Giants beat the Jewels in their second-straight meeting, 43-29. More alarming than the loss for Gandolire was another injury to star GF Scott Goodman. Goodman was a scratch from the game with a pulled groin. He could miss a few games going forward and will be evaluated day-to-day.
  • The Ramblers ended the Brothers 7-game winning streak with a 48-41 road win. Riverside GF Luther James had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal in the win. The loss puts Salvation a half game behind Plains City for the West’s final playoff spot.
  • The Tippers upset the Ramblers in Riverside, 53-47. However, the 23-10 Ramblers became the first team to qualify for the playoffs. With 1 win in their upcoming final 5 games, they will clinch the first seed and a bye to the Western Division Championship.
  • Gandolire PG Franklin Roberts came off the bench for a career night with 13 points, 3 threes, and 4 rebounds, all career highs. The Jewels beat the Colts in Cherricaw, 42-33. Jewels GF Scott Goodman remained out with a pulled groin. The Jewels win puts them 4 games behind the Ramblers for the top spot in the West with 5 games to go, and 2 games ahead of the Brothers for the final playoff spot.
  • The Riverwolves pulled off a thriller on the road in Thundaru, winning 56-54 behind 17 points and 6 assists from G Brandon Benakotas. Prissley holds the top record in the league at 23-10. Thundaru is now tied with Wight for the final playoff spot in the East.
  • The Salvation Brothers lost their second straight coming off their season-high 7-game win streak. This time the Bannarets did them in by a score of 53-49. Carver PF Leonard Morgan scored 9 points with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in the win. The loss keeps Salvation a half game back of Plains City for the last playoff spot in the West.
  • Wight PG Arnold Hall put up 17 points with 2 rebounds, an assist, and a block as the Spirits held on the beat Crawsburgh, 45-43. The Spirits are tied with the Lightning for the last playoff spot in the East with 5 games to go. The Lightning and Spirits will meet once more before the season ends.
  • The Roland Aces beat the Plains City Scouts at home, 51-48. Jeffery Carey had 12 points int he win, with a rebound, 2 assists, and a steal. The Aces are in second place in the East, while the Scouts remain just a half game in front of the Brothers for the last playoff spot in the West.
