Week 3 of the UMB season began with the Prissley Riverwolves as the league’s only remaining undefeated team at 6-0, leading the Eastern Division.
In the Western Division, the Ramblers, Scouts, and Jewels came into the week in a three-way tie for first with all three teams sporting a 4-2 record.

- The top two teams in the Eastern Division met in Thundaru as the Riverwolves visited the Lightning. Prissley held off a strong effort from Thundaru to remain undefeated at 7-0. G Theodore Duncan scored 16 points and had 8 assists for the Lightning, while Riverwolves SG Jesse Mills scored 14, with a career-high 9 rebounds as Prissley beat Thundaru, 58-53.
- Jewels PG Johnny Sherman put up a career-high 17 points with 6 assists and 2 rebounds as Gandolire bounced back from two straight losses to handle the Giants in Deerborn, 52-39.
- Bannarets PF Leonard Morgan set a UMB record with 3 steals, alongside a career-high 7 assists, 8 points, and 5 rebounds as Carver edged the Spirits in Wight, 64-62.
- Roland PG Daniel Saucedoto dropped a career-high 24 points on a 10-for-12 day shooting as the Aces manhandled the Colonels, 65-40.
- Crawburgh Comets FC Albert Mack will be day-to-day after suffering a strained shoulder in the Comets’ 53-42 loss to Plains City.
- The Aces shored up their roster with three signings on the same day, bringing PG Danny Boyd, G Christopher Garrison, and G Wayne Jordan to Roland. The trio all previously appeared together as players with the team’s previous incarnation, the Riverboat Aces, who toured the country as the foil to the Hewitt Scouts.
- The Riverwolves held off a big fourth quarter run from the Aces to win 52-50 in Roland and remain UMB’s only undefeated team. UMB’s top scorer, Jesse Mills, scored 23 points with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
- GF Issac Hart logged a career-high 17 points as the Brothers knocked off the Jewels in Gandolire, 42-39, to improve to 4-4. The Jewels are now 5-3.
- The Lightning bounced back from their loss to Prissley with a 60-42 beatdown of the Carver Bannarets at Thundaru Civic Arena. Thundaru F Timoteo Gilbuena scored 19 points in the win.
- Wight PG Arnold Hall notched a career-best 24 points, with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals as the Spirits topped the Scouts, 51-40.
- The Railey Colonels upset the Riverside Ramblers for the second time this season, 51-48. Colonels F Simon Waters scored a career-high 18 points in the win. For Riverside, the loss leaves them in a three-way tie with Gandolire and Plains City in the West. Ramblers G Clifford Simmons strained his elbow in the game and will be day-to-day.
- The Crawsburgh Comets pulled off a major upset, beating the previously undefeated Prissley Riverwolves 55-49. Jesse Mills scored 17 for Prissley, but it wasn’t enough. Comets FC Stanley Copeland had his best game of the season with 9 points and 4 rebounds to help Crawsburgh to the win at home. Prissley retains a 2-game lead in the Eastern Division.
- Spirits PG Arnold Hall had another huge game, scoring 18 points on an 8-for-8 day, with 4 assists and a block, as Wight beat the Bannarets in Carver, 57-50. Wight is now 2 games behind the Riverwolves in the East.
- The Ramblers bounced back from their loss to Railey as the two teams met again, this time in Riverside. The Ramblers beat the Colonels, 54-29, behind 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal, and a block from GF Luther James. The win puts Riverside alone in first in the Western Division.
- The Brothers won their third straight game to improve to 5-4. They beat the Tippers, 55-46. Salvation SG Kirk Barnes topped his career high with 19 points in the win, along with a career-bests with 5 3pt and 5 rebounds. Salvation is now a game out of first place after starting 0-3.
- The Lightning edged the Scouts in Plains City, 61-60. Thundaru G Theodore Duncan came up big with a 23-point performance, including a career-best 5 3pt, a rebound, and 4 assists. The Lightning are 2 games behind the Riverwolves in the East, while the Scouts are now a game behind the Ramblers in the West.
