The Regular Season has concluded and the playoff field is set! The last week of the season was an exciting one. Playoff races came down to the final day of games and beyond, with the Platte Bears and Northsouth Guardians meeting for a 1-game playoff on Monday to determine the final playoff spot.
This is the first season under the new expanded playoff structure, which puts six teams into the UA postseason (four division winners and two wild cards) instead of the usual three. The Wild Card round begins tomorrow!

Mario Olivo has won UA MVP the last three seasons and his 1934 campaign was yet another legendary effort. Olivo finished with the league’s best batting average (.373), most RBI (98), and was just four home runs behind teammate Antonio Teakowa (Olivo had 35, Teakowa had 39), finishing just short of becoming the first player to win a Batting Triple Crown. He also set the UA record for most hits in a season with 139, breaking Jose Meza’s previous record of 130 hits in a season, set in 1930. Olivo and the Delle Stars are set to pursue their fourth straight Windsor Cup championship, having earned a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
