The Regular Season is winding down. Division leaders Delle, Deerborn, Cherricaw, and Redwood have been in control all year, but the Wild Card race is up for grabs, with nine teams within six games of a playoff spot.

The trade deadline came and went on Tuesday. Teams in the running have done what they can to strengthen their rosters as they make the push for the playoffs.

Stars SS Mario Olivo is on a quest for his fourth straight UA MVP award. He won August’s Batter of the Month award and currently leads the league in AVG and RBI. Olivo trails teammate Antonio Teakowa for the HR lead by 4 as he eyes a possible batting triple crown.

Delle LH SP Morgan Burnett threw a no-hitter on Saturday against the Guardians! Burnett faced 28 batters and struck out 12 with no walks. The only Northsouth base runner of the game reached on a throwing error by Burnett himself. The error was the only thing that kept Burnett from pitching the first perfect game in history. Burnett is having a career season since coming to Delle this year. The Stars are in first place and have the league’s best record as they vie for a fourth straight championship.
