As the UA came out of the All-Star break this week, the Stars, White Sox, Herders, and Owls remain in control of their divisions. We begin to look to the Wild Card race with just over a month left in the Regular Season. The Brothers and Metros currently sit atop the WC race, but a lot could change over the next five weeks as we approach the Playoffs.

Owls shortstop Fouad Lefevre has become the third player this season, and the fifth ever in the UA, to hit for the cycle! He went 4 for 5 with a single, double, triple, and home run on Thursday against Wight.

The day after Lefevre’s cycle, Brothers phenom Kamel Gosselin threw the third no-hitter in UA history! He struck out 14 and walked just one against the White Sox. Gosselin’s is the first no-hitter since 1930.

The NPL championship, the inaugural National Series, is set to take place this week in Lia Puedris. The Lia Puedris Kings will host the Elderwood Lakers in a best-of-five series to take place entirely at Kings Stadium. As the number one team in the Regular Season, the Kings are given a 1-game lead to start the series. The winner of the National Series will be promoted to the Uplantic Association for the 1935 season.
