As Week 2 began, fans had a lot of questions. At the top of the list: Would the Herders, Reapers and Miners keep their surprising momentum from Week 1 of the 1934 season? Would the Owls keep their shocking unbeaten streak alive? Would perennial powerhouses Delle and Deerborn bounce back from disappointing opening weeks? Would 3-time MVP Mario Olivo of the Stars sign an extension sometime soon with the last year of his contract looming over the season?
Reapers 1B Vance Adegoke became the third player in UA history to hit for the cycle in a game against the Spiders on June 12. He joins Jose Meza (Miners, 1929) and Ramon Zuniga (Stags, 1930) in the elite club.
