The NC West Champion Elderwood Archers hosted the NC East Champion Carver Bulldogs in the Northern Conference Championship at Elderwood Park Center. The Bulldogs beat the Archers in their Regular Season match-up, but the Archers finished a half game better in the standings and earned home field advantage in the NC Championship.
The SC West Champion Lia Kompos Pumas hosted the SC Wild Card Taawa Jackals in the Southern Conference Championship at Katakien Stadium. These teams fought hard all season for the SC West title, but due to a scheduling quirk, they never played head-to-head.
The grand finale of the 1933-34 UPF season, next up: Uplantic Bowl II!

CAR (10-5) @ ELD (9-4-1): The Elderwood Archer hosted the Carver Bulldogs in the NC Championship. The Bulldogs were fresh off of beating Wight for the second week in a row, hoping to handle the Archers just as they did back in Week 9. The Archers played a strong first half, seizing two turnovers an a 10-0 halftime lead. However, an interception, a missed field goal, and a blocked punt led to a 13-10 Carver lead at the end of the third quarter. Elderwood regained control in the fourth when CB K’Tueti Outlaw returned an interception for a touchdown. The Archers extended their lead to 14 points with under two minutes to go, and time ran out on a Bulldogs comeback. The Elderwood Archers are headed to the Uplantic Bowl! Final: ELD 27, CAR 20.

TAA (12-3) @ LK (11-2-1): The Taawa Jackals visited the Lia Kompos Pumas in the SC Championship. Taawa beat the Chaps in Delle, who were 7-0 at home in the Regular Season. Now they’d face the Pumas who were also unbeaten at home. The Pumas dominated the league until the last 3 weeks of the season, when they lost two straight and then narrowly beat a middling Petchon team in Week 14. The Jackals led early in this game, then scored the scored the game’s first TD on a 40-yard run by HB Rickie Bates. Taawa never looked back, going on to embarrass the Pumas in Katakien Stadium. The Taawa defensive line continued its domination with 7 QB sacks in the game, 3 of which belonged to DE Charles Veguilla, while 2 came from DT Sherman Pratt. Taawa HB Rickie Bates ran for 148 yards on 23 carries in the win. The Taawa Jackals are going to Tiny Sea to take on the Elderwood Archers in the Uplantic Bowl! Final: TAA 32, LK 16.
