The Delle Chaparrals became the first team to clinch a UPF division title this week, winning the SC East. The playoff field is set in the Southern Conference with the Chaps, Jackals, and Pumas qualifying; the final two weeks of the Regular Season will determine the seeding.
In the Northern Conference, the Archers, Titans, Ravens, Bulldogs, and Travelers are all still in the running for a playoff spot.
The Archers will be without star HB Mark Muinos for the remainder of the season after losing him to a back injury in the second quarter of this week’s game against Petchon.
Week 12 Scoreboard:

SAL (4-7) @ AMB (4-7): The Salvation Brothers visited the Amblint Poets. Salvation won in a tight contest with a FG by K Ralph Mclemore in the final 30 seconds. Brother LB Richard Hedges had 10 tackles and an INT in the win. Final: SAL 10, AMB 9.

NOR (0-11) @ CAR (7-4): The Carver Bulldogs won their fifth straight game, at home against the winless Northsouth Generals. The Bulldogs run continues under backup QB Frank Daugherty, with starter Oscar Ivey questionable to return this season. Carver remains in first in the NC East, pending the outcome of Titans @ Ravens this week. Final: CAR 25, NOR 13.

DEL (8-3) @ DEE (4-7): The Delle Chaparrals headed to Deerborn to take on the Gryphons, hoping to win the SC East with a win. Despite not reaching the endzone, the Gryphons pulled off a win with 4 FGs from K John Luna. Delle QB Hubert Aguirre did not play up to his normal standard. He left the game multiple times with an apparent leg injury, but is listed as healthy for Week 13. The Chaps can still take the division with a Cragsmen loss this week. Final: DEE 12, DEL 7.

ELD (6-4-1) @ PET (4-7): The Elderwood Archers traveled to Petchon to play the Predators. The Archers tightened their hold on first place in the NC West with a decisive victory on the road. Elderwood DT Angel Carbajal had 4 sacks in the blowout win, while QB Hugh Ricketts threw for 247 yardsm 2 TDs, and an INT. Unfortunately, the Archers lost HB Mark Muinos for the rest of the year with a back injury. They can clinch the division next week against Tiny Sea. Final: ELD 23, PET 6.

LK (10-0-1) @ PC (6-5): The Lias Kompos Pumas looked to stay undefeated and get closer to locking up the SC West and a bye to the Conference Championship, playing the Travelers in Plains City. The Travelers needed a win to keep pace in the NC East. The Travelers got a strong opening drive from QB Phillip Marinna’a and the offense, scoring a TD on a pass to Clyde Knox. They held their lead all game long, and held on for a narrow 27-24 to hand Lia Kompos their first loss. The Travelers remain a game out of first in the division after handing the Pumas their first loss of the year. Final: LK 22, NOR 14.

GR (3-8) @ PLA (5-6): The Platte Cragsmen needed a win to keep their season alive as they hosted the Green Rock Warriors. Green Rock, fresh off an upset of the Archers last week, played another great game for another upset win. Warriors QB William Kastaneda racked up 328 yards in the air with 2 TDs. The Platte loss ends their bid for the postseason and clinches the SC East for the Delle Chaparrals. Final: GR 26, PLA 21.

TAA (9-2) @ RW (4-7): The Taawa Jackals hoped to take advantage of the Pumas’ first loss of the year with a win against the Flyers in Redwood. In the third quarter, the Flyers broke a 6-6 tie with a 13-yard TD pass from QB Lemanea’a Gacharna to TE Edward Rivera. They took advantage of a fumble by Taawa HB Rickie Bates to add a field goal, and the Jackals ran out of time for a fourth-quarter comeback. To the chagrin of the Jackals and their fans, they failed to take advantage of the Lia Kompos loss, and are likely to enter the playoffs as the SC Wild Card, as they trail by 1.5 games with 2 games to go. Final: SAL 11, RW 3.

TS (6-5) @ WIG (7-4): The Tiny Sea Titans met the Wight Ravens at Jenkins Stadium in Wight, with both teams looking to keep pace in tight NC division races. The game was closely contested, with a wild fourth quarter that saw the Ravens complete a comeback with a 25-yard TD pass from QB Alphonso Esparkia to HB Garry Young to remain tied for first with the Bulldogs in the NC East. The Titans’ loss puts them 1.5 games behind the Archers in the NC West, their season on the brink. Final: WIG 23, TS 20.
