The UUBO merger is the talk of the baseball world this week, but the Winter Meetings in Tiny Sea were more than just this big announcement. This offseason has been the most active so far in pro baseball’s history. Teams and players hashed out deals that will shape the landscape of the game as we begin the transition into the UUBO era of Uplantic baseball.

- The Platte Bears debut changes to their uniforms for the 1933 season. The Bears will still wear their classic home pinstripes, but will also be adding pinstripes to their road uniforms. In addition, they will also wear their blue tops for Saturday games both at home and on the road. (11/4)
- RH SP Gabe Kefentse is headed back to the UA after a solid season with Wight in the NPL. Kefentse will join the Lia Kompos Miners for 2 years and will make $2.56 million. (11/4)
- The Redwood Owls have dealt 1928 MVP LF Ambroise Forestier to the NPL’s Tiny Sea Metros. Forestier is 33 years old and still playing some of his best baseball. The Owls will also give up 1B Ricardo Karrasco, and will receive five prospects, including outfield phenom Pat Segars. (11/6)
- The Roland Stags have acquired RH SP Michael Mercer from the Railey Rivals, giving up 3 prospects in return. (11/6)
- 2-time champion, free agent C Steve Austin has signed with the Prissley Trail Blazers for 2 years and $5.6 million. (11/6)
- Free agent SP Alfonso Lopetokaz reaches a deal with the Petchon Carp for 3 years/$4.5 million. (11/6)
- 1928 Windsor Cup MVP and 2-time champ, free agent CF Howard Tenney has signed a big contract with the Railey Rivals. He will make $24 million over 4 years. The Rivals also signed RH SP Manny Vazquiza today for 2 years/$10.4 million. (11/8)
- After a stellar season with Wight in the NPL, RH RP Francisco Terawaa returns to the UA with a 2-year, $5.28 million contract. (11/9)
- The Delle Stars have retained the services of megastar RF Antonio Teakowa with a 3-year extension worth $28.5 million. (11/9)
- The Roland Stags re-sign LH SP Salim Mujer to a 3-year extension worth $18.4 million. (11/11)
- Free agent RP Jeff Tardif is headed back to the UA’s Salvation Brothers with a 2-year deal worth $2.4 million. (11/17)
- LF Brad Bailey signs a 2-year contract extension with the Northsouth Guardians for $14.8 million. (11/18)
- The first big deal of the Winter Meetings: 3-time stolen base champion, CF Ed DeMent has been traded from the Cherricaw Herders to the Petchon Carp of the NPL. Simultaneously, the UA announced that the stolen base champion will receive the newly dubbed DeMent Award at the end of each season. “And I’d have done it again this year if I didn’t get hurt,” DeMent joked. “But seriously, I can’t believe what an honor this is. - After a phenomenal season in Wight in the NPL, RH SP Noa Dutertre lands a big long-term UA contract with the Roland Stags. He’ll make $6.5 million over 7 years. (11/21)
- Superstar LF Juan Tumaini has signed a gigantic contract extension with the Deerborn White Sox. He will take home $84.7 million over 7 seasons. Tumaini said: “Let’s go! We’re gonna build a dynasty, baby!” Tumaini has been accused of low work ethic before in his career, but the White Sox are banking on big money motivating the slugger for years to come. CF Jimmy Lia Morro will also stay with the Deerborn White Sox for the next 3 seasons. He’ll make $21.7 million. (11/21)

- RH SP Jose Verdier returns to the UA, signing a 3-year deal for $18.6 million with the Redwood Owls. (11/21)
- Star 3B Miguel Naggenda has been traded from the Redwood Owls to the Roland Stags in exchange for a pair of prospects. (11/22)
- RP Dan Sherman signs with the Elderwood Lakers of the NPL. The 35-year old will make $2.56 million over 2 seasons. (11/22)
- 1B Cal Oluoch re-signs with the Northsouth Guardians for 3 years and $29 million. (11/23)
- 1B Francisco Kosgei missed 1932 with a ruptured elbow ligament, but he signed a 1-year deal with the Petchon Carp today, worth $4.76 million. He is expected to be ready to go for Spring Training. (11/25)
