The 1932 Regular Season has come to a close. Both leagues featured thrilling races down the stretch. The playoff field is set in the Uplantic Association, while the National Professional League has crowned a champion for the year.

The Platte Bears and Northsouth Guardians began Week 15 in a dead heat in the UA West division. In the UA East, the Deerborn White Sox have spent nearly every day at the top of the standings. The Delle Stars have hung tough, leading the Wild Card race for most of the year over Northsouth and Platte, and hoping to sneak past the White Sox for the UA East pennant and the Mark Davis Trophy for the league’s best record and a bye to the Windsor Cup Finals.

Here’s a reminder of the UA playoff format:

Only one team, the 1930 Platte Bears, has won both the Mark Davis Trophy and the Windsor Cup in the same season. Is the time off between the Regular Season and the Windsor Cup Finals a detriment to the team who earns a bye?

Final UA Standings:

The Stags’ Jose Lia Tinta came up short of the Triple Crown, but is certainly in the conversation for UA MVP.

The playoff field is set, with the Delle Stars going up against the Platte Bears in the UA SemiFinal while the Deerborn White Sox await the winner in their 4th straight Windsor Cup Finals appearance. For the first time ever, we will see a team win their 2nd Windsor Cup!

Congratulations to the Deerborn White Sox, winners of their 2nd straight Davis Trophy and their 3rd straight UA East Pennant! The White Sox broke their own record from last season, winning an all-time best 73 games in 1932. The White Sox will be appearing in their 4th straight Windsor Cup Finals. Congratulations, also, to the Platte Bears, winners of their 2nd UA West Pennant!

Final NPL Standings:

Congratulations to the Plains City Reapers, winners of the 1932 National Cup!
