With only two weeks left, Deerborn is currently 2 games in front of Northsouth for the wildcard, with Salvation and Roland in control in their divisions. Roland leads Salvation by 3 games for the best record in the league, which will earn a bye to the Windsor Cup Finals at the end of the regular season..Deerborn wraps up their series with Northsouth and heads to Roland this week in crucial games…Northsouth visits Salvation this week with a final chance to eat into Salvation’s division lead…

  • Salim Mujer gives the Stags 8 innings in Roland’s 5-1 win against Redwood. Ramon Zuniga’s 31st HR is an inside-the-park solo homer. Pitcher Tim Coffman plunks the next batter, Antonio Said on the forearm. Said feels the HBP is intentional and yells a few choice words at Coffman before charging the mound. The benches begin to clear, but both fighters give up the contest after exchanging a few quick blows. Said is suspended for 3 games; Coffman is suspended for 6. (9/2)
