- Salvation sweeps the Chargers for their incredible 13th straight win, but Andy Thompson comes off limping and will miss about 6 weeks with a sprained right knee. This injury seems to be more severe than when Thompson sprained his left knee last month. Despite his amazing play on the field, Thompson’s reputation for fragility is growing, with yet another injury this season after he missed the team’s championship run last year with a hamstring strain.
