The UA All-Star teams will be revealed this Friday, and the 2nd annual UA All-Star Game will be played in Delle this Sunday night, July 21…Bears SS Ralph Maxwell comes into this week with an 11-game hitting streak…The Windsor Cup champion Salvation Brothers are riding an 8-game winning streak as play begins on July 8th.

  • Jeff Rogers strikes out 11 in 6 innings for the Trail Blazers, but the bullpen is hammered for 7 runs as the Guardians win, 8-1. (7/8)
  • Herders RF Holth Lass has a 2 HR day, but the Rivals win in Railey, 8-7. (7/8)
  • White Sox SP Jorge Takato strikes out 9 batters in 6 scoreless innings as the White Sox beat the Chargers, 7-4. (7/9)
  • Rivals 1B Pedro Kopano ties the UA record with 3 doubles, but late heroics by Mario Odumbe gives the Herders the 8-7 win. (7/9)
  • Trail Blazers SP Alfonso Lopetokaz throws 7 scoreless innings with 9 Ks, but the Guardians overpower the Blazers bullpen in the 10th to win, 5-0, as Prissley’s dismal July continues. (7/9)
  • Bears SS Ralph Maxwell hits in his 13th straight game, but the Brothers sweep the Bears to come away with their 10th straight victory. (7/9)
  • Taawa SP Arturo Kagai will miss the rest of the year after finding out that his elbow injury from July 6 will require surgery. (7/10)
  • Salvation closer Fernando Varkas’s shoulder inflammation is severe enough that he will likely miss at least 5-6 weeks for the first place Brothers. (7/10)
  • Another Austin Edwards gem: The Salvation starter fans 9 in 6 innings with 1 ER, Andy Thompson hits his 15th HR, as the Brothers beat Taawa to win their 11th straight. (7/11)
  • Stags SS Carlos Katamori hits a pair of longballs, Stags CF Ramon Zuniga hits league-leading 16th HR, as Stags stomp Railey, 7-1. (7/11)
  • The White Sox starting rotation continues to get beat up as Jacob Hudson will miss his next start with a sore wrist. Deerborn gets the job done again, though, beating the Owls, 7-4. (7/11)
  • Ralph Maxwell hits 2 doubles and a home run for the Bears to extend his hit streak to 14, but Northsouth wins, 2-1. (7/11)
  • Stars 1B Justin Louvet ties the UA record with 3 doubles in Delle’s 8-1 rout of Lia Kompos. (7/11)
  • Trail Blazers 3B Jesus Terawaa hits a pair of home runs, his first this season since returning from a broken thumb. The Blazers win 6-4 in Cherricaw to sour Speakowan Independence Day for the Herders. (7/12)
  • Ralph Maxwell hits in his 15th straight game as the Bears edge the Guardians in Northsouth, 5-4. (7/12)
  • Whit Vorpoole allows only 2 hits in 8.1 innings, strikes out 7 Taawa batters in 2-0 win. The Brothers have now won 12 straight and are the first team to 30 wins. (7/12)
  • White Sox RF Curt Sawyer blasts 2 HR and a double for 5 RBIs in Deerborn’s 9-2 win over Redwood. (7/12)
  • Ralph Maxwell’s 7th inning double scores 2, helps propel Platte to a 6-2 win over the Guardians. Maxwell ties the UA record by hitting in his 16th straight game. (7/13)
  • Rivals SP Noa Dutertre strikes out 11 and allows 2 ER in a complete game win, 7-2, over the first place Stags. (7/13)
  • Salvation sweeps the Chargers for their incredible 13th straight win, but Andy Thompson comes off limping and will miss about 6 weeks with a sprained right knee. This injury seems to be more severe than when Thompson sprained his left knee last month. Despite his amazing play on the field, Thompson’s reputation for fragility is growing, with yet another injury this season after he missed the team’s championship run last year with a hamstring strain.   • Ralph Maxwell’s hit streak ends at 16 games as Adam Evans pitches 8 innings in the Herder’s 10-6 win over Platte. (7/14)
  • The Stars and the White Sox begin a 3-game series today in Deerborn as both teams are hot on the trail of Roland in the East and neck-and-neck with the Guardians in the wildcard standings. Stars RF Antonio Teakowa hits his 13th HR. Stars C Jon Garcika hits in his 10th straight game. Delle takes game 1, 5-4. (7/14)
  • Guardians 1B Cal Oluoch hits another pair of dingers as Northsouth beats Taawa 7-2 to keep pace atop the wildcard standings. It is the Chargers’ 8th loss in a row. (7/14)
  • The Redwood Owls unload on Salvation pitching, win 9-1 behind Carlos Teakowa’s 4 RBIs to end the Brothers win streak at 13. (7/14)
